Vehicle Requirements:
* Title is required on all complete vehicles
* Vehicles 35 years or older can be brought in without title (1988 or older), Bill of Sale will be filled outÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
* All Fluids must be drained
* Mercury switches removed
* Air Conditioning units must be disconnected
* Up to 4 passenger tires per vehicle before deducting tires weight
* We will NOT accept any hybrid or electric vehicles.
Appliances Containing Refrigerants must have No Freon(seller responsible for proper removal prior to bringing to our yard).
Tanks (Propane/Helium tanks, fire extinguishers):
* Must have the valve removed or have a hole big enough to see into the container
* Must be empty and dry
#2 Short Steel Requirements
Length can be no more than 36 inches
Width can be no more than 18 inches
Needs to be at least 1/8 inch thick
May include automobile scrap, properly prepared
Product should be free of sheet iron, thin gauge material and white goods, non-ferrous metals, cast iron, borings, chips, swarf, grinding dust, scale, oil, grease, excessive rust and dirt, tin, leaded material, steel cans with aluminum tops, copper, bearing journals, electric motors, windings, radiator cores, shocks, struts, torque converters, drive shafts or sealed units. Must be free of radioactive scrap and sealed containers.
Plate & Structural Prepared Steel
Not less than ¼ inch in thickness, not over 3 feet in length and 1-1/2 feet in width
Clean open hearth steel plates, structural shapes, crop ends sheerings or broken steel tires.
Must be free of non-ferrous metals, cast iron, borings, chips, swarf, grinding dust, scale, oil, grease, excessive rust and dirt, tin, leaded material, steel cans with aluminum tops, copper, bearing journals, electric motors, windings, radiator cores, must be free of radioactive scrap and sealed containers.
Prepared Cast Iron – Auto & Machine
Maximum size 20 inches by 20 inches, must be between 1/8” and 2 inches thick

Other items are miscellaneous Cast and Classified as Shred
We will NOT accept the following:
* Beer Kegs
* Paint
* Items containing Refrigerant
* Radioactive Materials
* Explosive Materials
* Capacitors or anything with PCBs
* Neon Signs
* Thermostats
* Mercury Switches
* Hybrid or Electric Vehicles

Follow Wes’ Recycling employees’ directions
No Passengers allowed in truck beds or on trailers
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
Shoes must be worn at all times
Exit your vehicle when it is being unloaded by mechanical equipment
Wes’ Recycling is not responsible for damages to vehicles, tires or trailers
Refrigerants must be removed from all vehicles and appliances – signed verification is required
Must be with parents or 18 years of age or older to sell steel
